Mixing is the process of blending all recorded tracks — vocals, instruments, effects — into one cohesive stereo file. Mastering is the final step that optimizes that mix for playback across all platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, radio, etc.) ensuring loudness, clarity, and consistency.
How much does mixing and mastering cost in Richmond VA?
At Da Spot, mixing and mastering sessions are billed at $75/hr with engineer included. Most single mixes take 2–4 hours. EP and album projects may qualify for block rate pricing.
